Lynn Wetterhorn
Lynn received a Bachelor's Degree in Plant and Soil Science from the University of Vermont. She received a Master's Degree in Waldorf Early Childhood Education from Antioch New England Graduate School. Lynn worked as an assistant at our Nursery/Kindergarten from 1995 to 2002. Since the fall of 2002, Lynn has been a lead teacher at our Nursery/Kindergarten. She brings a wealth of experience as a parent educator and childcare provider to her classroom. In addition, Lynn is a skilled landscape designer. She lives in Spofford with her husband and two children.
Michelle Brooks
Michelle received a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Anna Maria College and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley College. In 2006 Michelle completed the Waldorf Early Childhood Education program at Sunbridge College in New York. She was a founding teacher at the Village School in Royalston, Massachusetts. Michelle lives in Roxbury with her husband Glenn Mallet and their three children.
Marie Burns
Marie received a Bachelor's Degree in Child and Adolescent Behavior from San Francisco State University and a Master's in Education from Antioch New England Graduate School in Keene with both a Waldorf and public school certification. Marie did her student teaching internship with Monadnock Waldorf School and has also been a nanny, an after-care teacher, a camp counselor, and a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. Marie lives in Keene.
Heather Power
Heather received a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Policy and Environmental Science from Boston University and a Master's in Education from Antioch New England Graduate School with both a Waldorf and public school certification. She was a Lead Teacher at Apples and Pears Nursery in Ann Arbor, MI from 1995- 1997. Heather has substituted in every grade at Monadnock Waldorf School from Parent/Child Play Group to eighth grade. Since the fall of 2007, Heather has been a Lead Teacher at our Nursery/Kindergarten. She lives in Fitzwilliam with her husband and two children.
Our teachers reach beyond the classroom, with a series of parent evenings throughout the year to explore topics such as bedtime routines, caring for sick children, nutrition, planning birthday parties, mealtimes, celebrating holidays, and setting limits. We’re always here to support your family.
