Nursery-Kindergarten Faculty

Nicole Besack
Nicole received a bachelor's degree in Fine Art from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. She attended The Rudolf Steiner College's San Francisco Teacher Training and The Bay Area Center for Waldorf Teacher Training. Nicole worked as a kindergarten teacher in an inner city Public School in Richmond, California, then became a class teacher at Marin Waldorf School and more recently a second grade teacher at an International School in Geneva, Switzerland. In addition, Nicole is a trained Lyric Soprano, Werbeck Singing Teacher, and a painter. Nicole is a lead teacher at our Nursery-Kindergarten, has three children and lives in Keene, NH.

Michelle Brooks
Michelle received a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Anna Maria College and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley College. In 2006 Michelle completed the Waldorf Early Childhood Education program at Sunbridge College in New York. She was a founding teacher at the Village School in Royalston, Massachusetts. Michelle lives in Roxbury with her family.

Amanda Vaine
Amanda received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary/Early Childhood Education from Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania. While in college, Amanda was active as a kindergarten assistant, and completed her student teaching at the Susquehanna Waldorf School in Pennsylvania. Amanda grew up in Winchester, New Hampshire and is glad to be back close to her roots.
