Parent Council

The Parent Council meets the first Wednesday of every month at 6:45 p.m. in the art room at the elementary school.  Each class has at least one representative on the Parent Council. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend meetings.

The mission of the parent council encompasses two main goals: The first goal is to assist the parents of the school in expressing their thoughts, ideas and concerns to the greater school community, including the Board of Trustees, College of Teachers and Administration.  By facilitating clear and consistent communication between parents and the governing bodies of the school, the Parent Council will help to serve the mission of MWS by addressing the unique needs of our students. The second goal is to serve MWS by supporting and facilitating school activities, celebrations and special events in an effort to foster a strong sense of school community.
