For the Class of 2018's Junior Portfolio Project, students have been working on two interviews of divergent lives, compiling careful notes, and considering how they might go about the delicate process of retelling a stranger's biography.
As the final component of this project, students will give a presentation on their experience with this biography work, which grows out of the central theme of 11th grade, the journey of Parzival and asking the question of the other, "What ails thee, brother?" Each student will devise his or her own fifteen-minute presentation, giving a brief picture of the biographies and his or her connection to the work.
These presentations will take place during three sessions at MWHS. We warmly invite all community members to attend these presentations.
Wednesday, April 12th 1:45-2:45pm
Wednesday, April 12th 6:30-7:30pm
Thursday, April 13th 6:30-8:00pm
The experiences that the students share are sure to be captivating and enlightening. And, if last year's are any indication, they will be well worth hearing! We hope to see you all at these wonderful events for the school community.
