High School Admissions

How to apply

February 19th is the application deadline for students applying for the following fall. For all others, and after the February deadline, admissions applications are accepted on a rolling basis, as space exists in a class. Admissions decisions for those applying by February 19th are announced on March 10. Admissions decisions for applications submitted on a rolling basis will be reached and announced in a timely manner, usually within two weeks of the admissions visit.

Submit Application

Submit the following completed application forms, a graded example of the student's academic work and a one-time, non-refundable application fee of $75 per student.

If the student has no guidance counselor, a personal reference can be substituted.

Admissions Visit

Once MWS has received your application, records and application fee, we will contact you to set up an admissions visit. From 8:00am–3:00pm the applying student will be hosted by one or more of our student ambassadors. The admissions visit includes time in several classes, an informal interview with a teacher, a short writing sample and a math assessment.

Apply for Sliding Scale Tuition  

Once your family has submitted an admissions application, you can apply for placement on our sliding tuition scale through FACTS, our tuition management service provider.


Notification of Acceptance

The admissions decision is communicated to parents in writing.  Acceptance into our High School program is determined by faculty based upon the application form, supporting documents and the admissions visit. Depending upon availability, eligible candidates are placed on a wait list and offered admission as space permits.

Reserve a Space

Upon acceptance, the Business Office will contact parents to discuss the enrollment contract, deposit and tuition arrangements. Your deposit will reserve your student’s space.
