Monadnock Waldorf School announces the appointment of Jennifer Butler to the position of first grade teacher for the rising Class of 2026, when school opens on August 27, 2014.
Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Empire State College in Nyack, New York. She completed her certificate in Waldorf Teacher Education, with a focus on elementary class teaching, from Sunbridge College in Chestnut Ridge, New York. Jennifer served on the faculty of Kimberton Waldorf School in Kimberton, Pennsylvania, teaching a class from grade one through grade five.
In 2003, Jennifer and her husband Grant Butler moved to Camp Glen Brook, in Marlborough, NH, a Waldorf-inspired summer camp owned by Garden City Waldorf School). Jennifer has since had a long affiliation with Monadnock Waldorf School’s nursery-kindergarten program where she has been a support teacher in the aftercare program and a support teacher in the school’s nursery and kindergarten programs.
