Monadnock Waldorf School Announces Teachers for Early Childhood Summer Outdoor Program

Monadnock Waldorf School has announced the teaching staff for its Summer Garden, an outdoor summer program for children ages three through age six.

The Lead Teacher is Alice Pratt, a Waldorf teacher with extensive experience teaching pre-kindergarten through early elementary years. Alice is, herself, a Waldorf graduate.

The Assistant Teacher is Anna Mallat. Anna is an alumna of Monadnock Waldorf School. She is a student at the University of Hartford, studying to be an Early Childhood teacher.

Limited openings remain for some of the seven week-long sessions of the Summer Garden. The program runs Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 1:00 pm with optional aftercare through 3:30 pm.  The weekly fee for the program is $185.00, optional afternoon care is $100.00 per week. The program opens on June 23 and the last session ends on August 8.

The Summer Garden is held on twelve lush acres of fields, forest, and gardens at 424 Old Walpole Road in Keene.  The program offers nature crafts, gardening, free play, stories, songs, games, and a healthy snack.
